Original character. The spine-looking thingy on his arm kind of evolves from the scabbard for his sword. Done in a more 'painterly' method compared to my usual one, hence the messy look especially on the wing. I was going to try using Painter 8 to colour this, but I still couldn't work it out just yet so I switched back to photoshop for the time being.

The character himself is based on one I had ages ago when I was still thinking of writing/drawing a manga. That is, until I found out what is required to make one and decided I don't have the time nor the motivation for it. I'll probably start fleshing out some of the character ideas anyway just for the sake of it even if I'm never going to use it.

The storyline is still more in the ideas stage, but I thought I'd put in some character info anyway (not that it will make any sense):
Name: Crimson
Race: Human
Formerly a knight of Helios, he defected to Niflheim after assasinating a high priestess of Eltainen. Offered his left arm as a sacrifice to prove his loyalty and was granted the wings and arm of a (deceased) naga. The colour of his armor was originally silver, but changes after being bathed with the high priestess' blood.
