A Mai Hime - Saint Seiya crossover fanart of Shizuru Fujino.
*rant starts - this will make no sense whatsoever so don't bother trying to*
I've just finished watching the Saint Seiya OVAs, and boy do those armours look nice. Sure, the storyline is simple enough for single celled organisms to understand, but oh do they have some nice, shiny armours.
And I reckon it would be interesting if they had used cheesy engrish lines for the special attacks in Mai Hime (like back in the Go Nagai days when mullets and sideburns are still cool, the men haven't lost their balls and gone metro, and a mecha's strength is directly proportional to its pilot's shouting).
If Mai Hime is remade into a hotblooded mecha anime, I reckon their special attack would be along the line of: Mai/Kagutsuchi - Hydro Blazer (Gaiking) Kuga/Duran - Jeeg Bazooka (Koutetsushin Jeeg) Mikoto/Miroku - Heart Breaker/Soul Crusher (Godannar) Midori/Gakutenou - Super Electromagnetic Spin (Combattler V) Shizuru/Kiyohime - hmm..... Erupting God Finger (G Gundam)? I'd just want to hear her say that
But of course, most of you would probably have no idea what I'm on (and no, I don't take drugs)
Nah, I know perfectly what ya mean. That's the kinda of anime I luv! *w* I'm also a Saint Seiya fan you know... and I luv most of those shows you listed Gaiking (El Gladiador), Kotetsu jeeg (El Vengador)... I'm not fan of the Gundam series though and dunno about those other 2... but I do love 80's anime style with big long spiky hair... yeah, I sooo luv Mazinger Z!

Looks promising, I see! Can't wait to see the others! Though there's one more thing I've been urging to ask - there isn't a chance you could try to do Nao, right? Even though I have yet to see the series, I somehow have a liking to her.

Hmm, the problem is most of the time I sketch a whole series on paper, then I pick the one I like for inking and colouring, so most of the time it never ends up as a series Even then I reckon I only ended up finishing and posting about 1/3 of the stuff I started, most of them simply remained in my hard drive for a while before they get deleted. I did a fanart of nao ages ago but I never actually posted it since I didn't like how it turned out.
