Artist's Comments

For ~coolmarvin, also partly as my appreciation for him being my devwatcher since I first started here on devArt.

Part two of 3, this is how I draw moons in photoshop. KEEP IN MIND THAT I'VE ONLY USED PHOTOSHOP FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS NOW, SO I ONLY KNOW HOW TO DO THINGS BASED ON HOW I'D DO IT WITH TRADITIONAL METHODS. SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT KNOW AN EASIER WAY, BUT THIS WAY WORKS QUITE WELL FOR ME.

This is the technique I use for [link] and [link]

This is the same method I'd used with acrylics. I mainly learned by looking at fantasy artists who uses traditional media since their methods leave a stronger imprint (on how they do it) compared to digital or airbrushed piece (Bob Eggleton is my favourite). Everything else was simple, systematic trial and error.
